Our View
If you only ever do one safari holiday, this probably should be
the one. Mombo has a reputation for abundant wildlife, and it more
than lives up to it (as you'll see when you fly in over herds of
buffaloand giraffe!).If you're a light sleeper, take earplugs with
you: the wildlife can get quite noisy at night! Accommodation, food
and staff are all outstanding, and 'Little Mombo' is particularly
well-suited to families. We'd recommend planning well in advance
though (even up to a year): in spite of the expense, it's very
popular!
Hotel Description
Overlooking a floodplain packed with wildlife, this beautifully
designed camp is renowned for superb viewings of lions and other
predators. Set in tents raised high above the ground to maximise
game-spotting potential, the nine rooms are an exquisite blend of

And if you can drag yourself away from your dreamy four-poster

shower, why not soak in the views from the restaurant's outdoor
terrace or the cool plunge pool?
