Our View
The thing that strikes you here is the
colours: white sand, aquamarine waters (with vibrant marine life,
of course), cobalt skies and the most intense sunsets you're likely
to see.
It all helps you simply kick back and
relax - which is what the Oberoi's all about. This is luxury on a
lavish scale, as befits Egypt's only all-suite resort; and what
suites!
They range from big to 'omigod', with
rich furnishings, sunken baths and private walled gardens. In fact,
the whole resort has a real sense of space, with the low level
architecture and huge vistas across the Red Sea.
Hotel Description
You'll find no end of ways to relax in
this lush retreat. Set in 48 acres with its own stretch of beach,
the architecture is a modern take on traditional domes, arches and
columns, with equally splendid interiors; the Royal and Grand
Suites even have their own private heated pools.
Days can be spent by the pool, enjoying
tennis, golf nearby or diving (this is the Red Sea, after all).
Alternatively, simply let your stresses melt away in the
ultra-serene spa, right on the shore and with a near-endless list
of treatments.
After dark dine alfresco in The
Restaurant (with lovely views of the fairytale illuminated domes),
or go for a more intimate ambience in Zaafran.
