Our View
This certainly isn't how most people think of Malawi. But you'll
be amazed. This is one of the most beautiful locations we've seen
(Livingstone called it 'the lake of stars', with water so clear and
blue you could be on a Greek island), and the people here are
amongst the most friendly and welcoming you'll find anywhere.
You can laze away your days quite happily, but the lake's
especially good for water sports. Make sure you take a sunset
cruise on the hotel's locally built dhow (or the speedboat, if you
prefer); as we said, you'll be amazed.
Hotel Description
Overlooking the pristine waters of Lake Malawi, the ten villas
that make up this idyllic beach lodge are an exercise in melding
modern European design with the beautiful, natural surrounding
landscape: for example, a grass roof but then sliding doors so you
can breakfast on your deck.
Tour local villages, cruise at sunset on a traditional dhow, or
explore the world's most ecologically diverse lake from
below.
Pure white sand, bird-watching and waterskiing are just a few of
the other attractions.
