Our View
It's mad…but it works! We loved tree
houses as kids, but who'd have thought you could build an entire
boutique hotel six metres up?
It's truly unforgettable; the ethnic,
craftsman-inspired décor feels very African while the stone, glass
and wood frames the fantastic views.
The strangest sensation is being
in the infinity pool, floating over empty space! And ladies take
note: with its slatted walkways, this is one fivestar hotel where
high heels are a no-no!
Hotel Description
Over the road from an elephant
sanctuary and Plettenberg Bay's whalewatching, this other natural
wonder celebrates Africa with its earthy colours, rich textures and
handcrafted fittings.
It's also super-luxurious; ten secluded
suites and six contemporary villas, all air-conditioned with
private pools and decks looking out over the treetops.
Wellness treatments are available in
your suite, and there's a central lounge and library with the
option to eat at the Tsala or Zinzi restaurants, both
highly-acclaimed. There are many activities too, mainly sport and
safari-based.
