Currency: Kwacha, but it is recommended that
you take US Dollar which are widely accepted.
Visas: British
passport holders do require visas, which are available on
arrival.
Best time to visit: There are three seasons:
the cool, dry winter season from May to September; the hot, dry
season in October and November; and the rainy season, which is
even hotter, from December to April. The best time to visit
Victoria Falls is from March to May, when the falls are at their
peak.
Vaccinations: Precautions for tetanus, typhoid,
diphtheria, hepatitis A and malaria are recommended, with some
regions under risk from rabies - please contact your doctor for
