Florida

Flying time: Miami - 8 hours.Orlando - 9 hours.

Time difference: GMT -5 hrs

Best time time to visit: Summers throughout Florida are long, warm and fairly humid. Winters are mild with periodic invasions of cool-to-occasionally-cold air. Coastal areas in all sections of Florida average slightly warmer temperatures in winter and cooler ones in summer.

New York

Best time time to visit: Summer in New York City can be hot and humid, with occasional tropical storms. Winters are usually cold, with occasional snowstorms, freezing rain and bitter cold winds.

California & Nevada

Fly time: Los Angeles - 11 hours. San Francisco 10 hours 55 minutes.

Best time to visit: It's always a great time to visit southern California. With excellent weather all year round, tourists flock to the region and its major attractions regardless of the season. Generally, however, southern California is less crowded during the winter months.  Whilst in Northern California June, July and August typify summer in most of the Northern hemisphere; San Francisco does not conform to expectations. With an annual "Indian Summer," September to November is the best time to visit.

Summer is hot in Las Vegas, with temperatures touching a high of 38ºC from June to September. In winter the average temperature still remains above 13ºC, while the rest of the year hovers around 19ºC. Sunbathers are in for a treat, because the city receives more than 200 days of clear sky every year on average, but for temperatures and events, the best time to visit Las Vegas is spring and autumn.

Arizona & Utah

Fly time: Phoenix - 10 hours 35 minutes Salt Lake City - 13 hours

Time difference: GMT -7 hrs

The best time to visit: Arizona's south (Phoenix, Tucson, Tombstone) is September through April. Arizona's winters tend to be mild and sunny, with rare cold days. Summer is humid and hot in most Arizonian cities and in the desert areas. If you want to avoid crowds in the Grand Canyon south rim, avoid the summer, and the weekends and remember that The Grand Canyon north rim facilities are closed between the middle of October till May.

If you just want to visit UTAH Spring and Autumn have the most agreeable weather conditions. Spring is the best time to travel to the south parks of Utah, as it experiences mild temperatures and many park plants are in bloom.
