Our View
If you're familiar with St Regis hotels, you'll find this one a
little different. The clue is in the location - next door to the
city's Museum of Modern Art, the hotel feels more contemporary and
'cool' than some of their others. The cultural quarter has a lively
atmosphere too, especially in the evening. The service is all you'd
expect though - a butler unpacks your bags, and there's a Bentley
available to run you round the city. Little touches? We
particularly enjoyed the complimentary champagne and choccy
truffles in the spa (yum)!
Hotel Description
Set in a superb location close to Union Square, the St Regis
cleverly mixes urban sophistication with old-world service. The
hotel blends a historic building, a forty storey tower, and the
Museum of the African Diaspora and its bedrooms are among the
largest in the city. They have been kitted-out with the latest
hi-tech gadgets and are decorated in leather and pale wood. Many of
San Francisco's best-loved attractions are also right on your
doorstep and if you're a wine lover, Napa Valley is within easy
driving distance.
