Our View
Scottsdale's full of surprises. There's stunning scenery and
great golf, of course, but you might not expect such exceptional
shopping and restaurants. It's the same with The Phoenician. The
best location in Scottsdale (check out the view down the valley
through the lobby's glass wall), it's opulent in the extreme - but
also a surprisingly good family destination. The pool complex is
nigh on perfect for kids (if yours are small, stay in the main
hotel or Casita Guestrooms; the Canyon Suites pool is better for
couples and families with teenagers). Note that August gets very
hot here, even when it's cloudy!
