Our View
Fantastic location with a great spa (it's on the expensive side
but it's well worth it, especially when you leave feeling 10
years younger). A must-do is to visit the Wholefoods
supermarket at Columbus Circle (10-minute walk from the
Ritz-Carlton) and take a picnic in Central Park to do a spot of
people-watching, especially those on
wheels!
Hotel Description
Central Park is 843 acres of welcome distraction from the
concrete canyons that dominate the skyline. Nestled on the south
side of this beloved stretch of green is the magnificent
Ritz-Carlton, Central Park, which has unbroken views of the park
and lies within a few blocks of iconic sights and some of the
world's best shopping destinations.
Inside, expect a refined opulence reminiscent of a bygone-era
with service levels to match and expansive rooms decorated in an
antique Continental style with 400-thread-count linens, plush
furnishings and telescopes in rooms with park views.
Cocktails and the trademark Ritz-Carlton afternoon tea are found
in the Star Lounge and after a day exploring Fifth Avenue, escape
to La Praire at the Ritz Carlton Spa, where stress-relieving hot
stone massages and caviar eye treatments await to soothe and
refresh.
