Slap bang in the middle of an
award-winning vineyard, there's no mistaking the theme of this
boutique hotel. It starts in the lobby with its twisted grapevine
chandelier; but where it really comes to life is in the divine spa,
with its 'vinotherapy'.
Wine-infused massage oils, wine baths,
grape seed exfoliations - hard to believe at first, but they're all
rather good. Not that we didn't appreciate the other attractions
here, our favourite being the staggering rooftop views of the
snow-capped Andes - blissful and beautiful.

A new world resort for lovers of New
World wines, this stunning lodge in the Mendoza region certainly
does things differently.
The entrance lounge with its striking
sculpture and modern art; the 14 dramatic adobe-style cabanas with
their spacious and bold organic design, one room flowing into the
next with curving walls and irregular archways; the roof decks with
fireplace and comfy seating to contemplate the fabulous
sunsets.
Naturally the restaurant has an
outstanding wine list, with exquisite Argentinean cuisine to
match.
