Our View
Ready for adventure? The area around
Patagonia's mystical glaciers is sometimes called 'the end of the
world', and it certainly feels like it! It's a very special place -
and this is the only hotel in the park, overlooking the
three-mile-wide Perito Moreno glacier.
That means while day visitors start
back on their 50-mile return trip, you can sit back and enjoy the
colours of the sunset (or moonrise) on the glacier, while tucking
into a hearty serving of Patagonian cuisine - lovely!
Hotel Description
While the cypress and pine exterior might look like a mountain
lodge, the inside is decidedly contemporary: 32 Jacuzzi-equipped
rooms of beautiful Argentine furniture with a variety of antiques
and individual décor.
Bold colours try to distract you from
the natural spectacle outside (but never quite manage to), with
picture windows everywhere for unobstructed views.
The award-winning restaurant is a game
and fish-lover's delight, and the excellent guided excursions
include climbing on the glacier, sailing past icebergs and
horseback riding across the steppe.
