Our View
This is a gem for anyone who loves complete quiet and intimate
luxury (don't we all?). Tucked away on a pristine fjord near the
beautiful Butchart Gardens, every suite has water views and
combines minimalist style with natural elements such as stone
fireplaces, handcrafted furniture and local art. The bathrooms are
like mini spas with rainwater showers and jetted tubs (although the
actual spa is one of the best on the West Coast!). Service is
first-class and friendly, and some of the activities put you very
close to nature, including bald eagles and orca whales. A real
treat.
Hotel Description
Contemporary design, to-the-letter service, breathtaking
scenery… Brentwood Bay Lodge is nothing short of a little bit of
heaven, and just 20 minutes from downtown Victoria. Famous Canadian
hospitality on tap at what has been voted one of the world's best
'environmental resorts', makes a stay here unforgettable.
Accommodation is in one of 33 suites or 6 oceanfront villas, which
need to be seen to be believed.
The lodge is also home to one of North America's finest spas.
Located by the ocean and with a heated pool, hot tub, aroma garden
and even a couple's room, choose from massages, body wraps, facials
and aqua therapies. Dining is courtesy of Seagrille, where
seasonally inspired cuisine and an awardwinning wine cellar make it
one of the area's most renowned restaurants, but if it's a bit of
adventure you're after, the staff at Brentwood will be happy to
arrange all manner of activities, be it kayaking, scuba-diving or,
if you want someone else to do the hard work, a narrated eco
cruise. In a word, spectacular.
