Our View
This world-famous hotel (and the nearby hot springs) was the
original magnet for tourists to discover the Rockies in the early
20th century and still is today. It might have been altered many
times in its history to add modern touches, but it still retains a
majestic air; you'll feel like a king in his castle (literally).
Rooms aren't huge but they are sumptuous; the furnishings, décor
and art reminiscent of an era of bygone luxury. With the
world-class spa, tennis courts and golf (one of the world's most
scenic courses), it's a year-round resort too.
Hotel Description
There aren't many hotels which offer grandeur comparative to
their majestic surroundings, but Fairmont's Banff Springs hotel
does just that, not only in spades, but with panache. From
cocktails in the Tudorlooking Ramsay Lounge, to a taste of Japan in
the Samurai Sushi Bar, to watching tee-offs from the elegant Golf
Club House, or maybe a quick nap in your charmingly-decorated room
before an invigorating mountain hike, or a Body Quench wrap in the
Willow Steam Spa - you won't want to leave!
