And what a view! Walk into the seventh floor Rimrock lobby
(seventh heaven?) and from the large windows you look out onto a
jawdropping view of the Rockies. From your room that view gets even
better (we'd recommend a balcony too, to make the most of it).
But there's a lot more than just the
view to indulge in; we loved the spa, and we can see why the
fine-dining restaurant, Eden (how appropriate!) is one of only five
'5-diamond' award winners in Canada.
Hotel Description
Once you've got over the breathtaking
views, you'll find everything you need to relax in the great
outdoors here. The style throughout is very classical (lots of dark
wood) and understated; the rooms comfortable and spacious.
The full-service spa has a long list of
treatments (with a special range for men) and there's a fitness
centre including squash courts. Although famed for skiing, Banff
(about 3km from the hotel) offers year-round activities including
golf, fishing, heli-hiking and whitewater rafting amongst
others.
