Our View
The beauty here is in the journey: there really is no better way
to see the Rockies. This has to be the most spectacular train
journey in the world, taking you right to the heart of nature with
breathtaking sights round every curve. And with travel in daylight
hours only, you know you won't miss a single lake, mountain or
raging river. The on-board catering is surprisingly good, and we'd
recommend upgrading to Gold Leaf service where the bi-level domed
coach makes the views even more spectacular. For us, this is what
train travel should be about: romantic and exciting!
Train Description
Imagine an ever-changing backdrop of some of the most stunning
and untouched landscapes Earth has to offer, and you'll be close to
the experience waiting for you on the Rocky Mountaineer. A train,
but with the standards of service you'd expect from the world's
best hotels, including à la carte dining from the onboard chefs and
temperature-controlled comfort. You'll follow a 100-year-old route
through Canada's West and the Canadian Rockies, where every eyeful
is to be savoured. This really is one of those 'do before you die'
trips.
