Some things make you feel really small.
The unbelievable desert sunsets, nightly riot of stars and
thousands of flamingos here are just three. But then, Atacama is an
extraordinary place. And so is Awasi. You're guaranteed genuine and
personal attention from the minute you arrive.
For example, you're assigned your own
guide and driver for the duration; there are no itineraries, just
tell them what you're interested in and they'll suggest where to
go. And service like that certainly makes you feel significant
again.
Hotel Description
The Atacama's volcanoes, salt flats,
lagoons and geysers are like a different world. Similarly, Awasi's
attention to detail is on a different planet. Its eight cottages
are in the style of the surrounding village, with thatched roofs,
adobe walls and smooth pebbles; the décor is dark wood and plump,
creamy soft sofas with colourful Andean accents: quirky, but
elegant.
The courtyard pool is perfect for the
number of guests, while meals from the open kitchen are simple but
delicious. A true original.
