Our View
This isn't just a hotel, it's an
experience! Patagonia, at the southern tip of South America, is one
of the most beautiful places on earth (imagine Switzerland on
steroids!). When the lake's calm, the reflection of the mountains
is utterly mesmerising.
Of course, your days are mostly spent
exploring - which is why the hydromassage baths are a godsend. It
may be a four to five-hour transfer through rugged country, but
it's worth every minute; and we guarantee you'll wish you'd stayed
longer.
Hotel Description
Untamed luxury; the only lodge in
Torres del Paine National Park, by the Salto Chico waterfall, is an
unusual, modernist structure but somehow it just fits with the
spectacular setting. Inside, nothing distracts you from the views,
with a stylish mix of lenga wood, cypress, slate and furnishings
crafted by local artisans.
There are daily excursions on foot,
horseback, bike or boat for all fitness levels, and afterwards the
bathhouse beckons with its swimming pool, massages and (yet
another!) stunning view.
