Our View
We love W. Even though they're too big
to be classed as boutique hotels, they always feel like one. The
trick is in the attention to detail; and here, all the details are
Chilean.
Chilean music throughout; paintings by
celebrated Chilean artist Marcial Ossio; even Chilean exports -
such as copper, wine, fruit and vegetables - subtly integrated into
the design. Beautiful. Not quite as beautiful as WET® though, the
heated rooftop pool with fantastic views over the city and the
snow-capped Andes beyond!
Hotel Description
In the heart of Santiago's swanky El
Golf district (known as San-hattan), this is the place to see and
be seen. Designers Tony Chi and Sergio Echeverria have excelled
themselves.
W's signature features playfully
combine with colourful Chilean style (think velvets, sheepskins,
bold palette) and great views (especially the Cool Corner
rooms).
Foodies will go wild for the
restaurants, particularly Osaka, with its Zen-chic and
Peruvian-Asian sushi menu. No wonder Travel+Leisure magazine rated
it among the world's hottest new hotels.
