Costa Rica's noted for its incredible natural diversity; and at
Four Seasons, it feels closer than ever. The resort is in a
tropical dry forest and much of the accommodation blends
sensitively into these surroundings, giving you the feeling of
being at one with nature (even more so in the superb spa, with its
natural treatments). This is one of the quietest parts of Costa
Rica too, making for a very calm, peaceful ambience. Having said
that, there's no shortage of activities both for adults and
children; and the kids will love getting to know the wildlife
around the resort!
Hotel Description
Set on a slender ribbon of golden sand fringed by pristine
beaches, Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica offers exemplary luxury and
service in a beautiful setting. The guest rooms and suites are all
sumptuously decorated with native woods and stone finishes, each
furnished with a balcony or terrace affording dramatic ocean
vistas.
There are three swimming pools and a spa offering many therapies
unique to Costa Rica, such as treatments using mud from the nearby
rainforest. Try a hiking tour through the Pala Verde National Park,
or for the more adventurous, the tour of the Blanco River Canyon.
The hotel's four restaurants offer lip-smacking cuisine, with
Papagayo paying particular attention to the excellent regional
produce; try the tortilla-crusted sea bass with pickled guava,
typical slaw and chipotle aioli or their version of 'Surf and
Turf'.
There's an Arnold Palmer Championship golf course and a
children's club (with a separate one for teens), so everyone is
free to do what they please.
