Visas: British passport holders do not require a visa. All other nationals please check visa requirements with the embassy.

Best time to visit: Cancun has a warm tropical climate. There are mainly two seasons on the Riviera Maya. Winter & Spring are mostly sunny and dry and Summer can be rainy however it is a good balance to high temperatures and a quite good time to visit Mayan ruins. From November to May we recommend packing a sweater or sweatshirt. With the ocean breeze, evenings can feel a little cool. There are three climatic zones in Baja California. The Pacific side of the peninsula averages 16°C to 24°C. Inland temperatures tend to be higher and it is more arid. In summer temperatures can reach 43°C. The eastern side of Baja, including the Sea of Cortez, is generally warm year-round with average temperatures between 21°C to 27°C.
