Our View
First there's the location (it's easy
to see why they called this 'Sacred Valley' - it's absolutely
stunning). Then there's the soundtrack.
Not just the soothing sound of tumbling
river water in the sweet-smelling gardens but the lack of noise
inside the hotel; the super-stylish guest rooms and villas have no
TVs, radios or mp3 players to disturb the peace.
Our favourite spot though, is the spa.
Really, what could be more restful than relaxing in an
indoor/outdoor Jacuzzi, looking at millions of stars?
Hotel Description
A real gem in a beautiful setting. The
Andean-style building uses local materials such as stone, adobe and
leather, contrasting with exquisite details like the Murano glass
and Starck lighting.
The huge-windowed rooms take European
minimalism and add richly decorated Peruvian accents; pièces de
résistance though, are the windowed showers, which make it feel
like you're in the forest.
Many of the spa treatments are derived
from native plants, and local ingredients also feature in the fine
cuisine in the El Huerto restaurant.
