Our View
Fantasy India at its best!
In reality of course, India can be a
very intense experience, but Amanbagh is the perfect antidote;
total peace and quiet, with every detail taken care of by the
impeccable staff (both typical of Aman Resorts!).
Although it's a remote spot, it's worth
exploring - everything's very low key and friendly.
We'd particularly recommend the ruins
at Bhangarh, an entire city built in the 1600s and deserted as the
result of a magic spell. Mystifying!
Hotel Description
Built of pink sandstone and situated
amongst the rugged Aravali ranges, stands a Moghul-style palace
amidst the green mountains of Rajasthan. Amanbagh is palatial
inside too.
Its 40 suites, some with private garden
or heated pool are vast and spacious, with marble everywhere;
outside, there's a huge swimming pool and immaculate gardens.
The restaurant has a regal atmosphere,
or you can eat by the pool or virtually anywhere in the
gardens.
Days can be spent enjoying spa
therapies, retail therapy in the boutique or exploring the locale
by jeep, boat, bike, elephant or camel!
