Our View
There's a lovely 'go-with-the-flow' feel here, which mixes the
laid-back atmosphere of Goa with lots of things to do. Because of
that, a break here can be anything you want it to be: quiet and
restful, or busy and active. The Leela is popular with families,
too. Well-kept grounds, just like the rooms, are vast and
beautiful. And the excellent service is all you'd expect in India
(they're so good at it in this country!). We particularly like the
Club Suites with their own outdoor Jacuzzi, exclusive pool and
individual butler service. Very decadent!
Hotel Description
Nestled between the lush landscaped gardens and the bleached
sands of Mobor Beach, Leela Palace is a striking edifice with 13th
Century architecture combined with 18th Century Portuguese design.
The accommodation has elegant furnishings that reflect the
melting-pot spirit of Goa and all have marble bathrooms and
unrivalled extravagance. To enliven your spirits, try a game of
tennis, or an exhilarating watersport and perfect your 'short game'
on the 12-hole par three golf course. Later, unwind on the quiet
beach or in the Internationally-acclaimed spa, complete with
in-house Ayurvedic doctor, who will ensure you have a genuine and
rejuvenating experience.
