Our View
We've known museums that don't display
as much history as The Imperial! Aside from its permanent art
gallery, there are reminders everywhere of the grand, aristocratic
(and very British) world of 1900s colonial India, all shown off
with a certain pride.
It overflows with old-world charm, its
cool white exterior, swish pool and lush gardens providing an oasis
of peace and calm in the heart of the city.
Where better to escape the frenetic daily life of New Delhi?
Hotel Description
Approaching The Imperial through its
stately avenue of palms tells you everything: this is truly a
landmark hotel. Inside, you're greeted by fabulous floral displays
and opulent elegance.
Rooms and suites have delightfully soft
beds and simple, elegant furnishings (apart from the stately
home-like Royal Imperial Suite), and many overlook the beautiful
gardens.
The five awardwinning restaurants are
equally outstanding: Spice Route, the hotel's sumptuous Asian
experience, is rated in the world's ten best restaurants by Condé
Nast.
