Our View
If you can drag yourself away from your villa - which,
practicalities aside, you'll be wishing you can pop inside your
suitcase - Alila Villas Uluwatu offers some pretty magical
experiences. Such as the spectacular clifftop pool and bar. And
fine dining at The Restaurant, with its regional produce and bold
architectural lines, or at Sunset Cabana with its Indian Ocean
views. Or maybe most impressive (and tempting!) of all: the three
types of butler service, up to and including personal sun-tan
lotion application. This place is fall-off-your-chair
impressive.
Hotel Description
Poised on top of a lush plateau under which limestone cliffs
plunge into the Indian Ocean, Alila Villas Uluwatu is an inspired
collection of covetable super-chic villas - 84 of them - all
individually designed and drenched in drop-dead gorgeous features,
with lines straight from modern design bibles. Each villa was
created following strict environmental guidelines and comes with
private pool and cabana overlooking the ocean, but each is brushed
with touches of nature and traditional Balinese accents, with
walkways and bridges connecting the various living areas. All in
all, it's a simply sublime destination.
