The beach here is one of the best in the world (and we've seen a
few!): with beautiful white sand, clear, deep blue water and a
nearby coral reef, it's the stuff of fantasies. The whole island
has an 'isolated chic' atmosphere: an easy, natural beauty (rather
than glamour), that has a real 'Robinson Crusoe' feel to it.
There's nothing castaway about the casitas though. They're
deceptively sophisticated, with stunning bathrooms; from the beach
casitas you can step right out onto the sand, but those on the
hillside feel just that little bit more exclusive.
