Eastern & Oriental Express Far East

Our View

A quarter of a mile in length and drenched in hallowed history, it's rare that something so reputed remains the dream of so many - and stepping onto the Eastern and Oriental Express leaves you in no doubt as to why. 'Wow' seems hardly to do the job. Unadulterated, unapologetic luxury is everywhere, and it's hard to narrow down the best bits - so let's just say all of it. Though freshly baked croissants first thing in the Observation Bar, taking in the extraordinary scenery before everyone else has woken, is pretty special.

Train Facts

The splendour of travelling on the Eastern & Oriental Express is unparalleled. Relaxing to the magnificent panoramas of Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Laos is surely an absolute must for the committed traveller, whilst the train itself is simply majestic. A quarter of a mile long with 66 air-conditioned rooms, Saloon Car, Dining Cars, Bar Car, exclusive boutique, even a library and reading room, there's a reason the Eastern and Oriental Express is legendary!
