Our View
Yao Noi gives new meaning to authenticity. The food alone is
pretty memorable, with the all-round emphasis being on nature,
and very obvious inspiration coming from the abundance of
vegetation and notably rubber trees all around. Getting a pool
with a sea view is a must; there's nothing like sipping something
bubbly with the Phang Nga pinnacles as a back-drop.
Hotel Description
Once you've caught your breath after taking in the views of
Phang Nga Bay - 'wow!' doesn't even cover it - lay back and
take in the Six Senses Hideaway that you've wisely chosen as your
holiday destination. Set on Koh Yao Noi, an extraordinary
island of lush vegetation and tropical landscaping, reached via
motorboat or by the resort's own helicopter and overlooking
the awe-inspiring limestone pinnacles of Phang Nga that really do
have to be seen to be believed.
Each of the 56 villas is sensitively designed to fit in with its
eco setting; you'd be forgiven for thinking they'd sprung out
of the ground, yet they are filled with those mod-cons we really
don't want to do without and each comes with its own infinity
pool, sundeck and butler. The Hill Top Reserve, the resort's
most exclusive villa, is 1,473 square metres of no-holds-barred
luxury: it comes with its own water slide leading to a
half-moon infinity pool, gym and wine cellar (and extra bedrooms
for staff. Which kind of says it all!). But whatever your
budget, Yao Noi really does set the benchmark for excellence.
