Our View
Privacy in paradise, this 300-acre, private offshore island is
as idyllic as you'll find anywhere in the Caribbean, with its
secluded white sand beaches (plus starfish and nesting turtles
depending on season) and laid-back atmosphere. With golf carts or
bikes as transport it really is chilled. It's a true A-list
retreat, especially with its recent remodelling and brand new spa.
If you're taking the family we'd recommend one of the amazing
villas or estate homes; just as we'd recommend the sunset tour of
the island - absolute perfection.
Hotel Description
2009 has seen this private island retreat revamped and
rejuvenated. It has a new air about it, one of understated,
up-to-date elegance, in British Colonial style. New suites blend
traditional colonial touches with an edge of clean-lined modernity;
think dark wood furnishings, four-poster beds, courtyard garden
bathrooms for outdoor showers and private infinity pools. The
island is home to three white sand beaches, sheltered by coral
reefs and endangered varieties of turtles, birds and sheep! There
are loads of other leisure attractions, whether for swimmers,
sunbathers or amateur Darwins, with hiking and biking trails
criss-crossing the island. Those in need of more structured
recreation will find a new infinity-edge swimming pool, a
world-class spa and a selection of water sports.
