Once devastated by hurricane Ivan, it has emerged like the phoenix from the flames and is now enticing luxury-travel seekers worldwide.

Its scenery is dramatic with Jurassic-style rainforests filled with brightly-hued birds, white and black sandy beaches, brilliant marbled blue water and balmy warm air filled with sweet spicy scents.

Best time to visit: The driest period in Grenada & the Grenadines is from January to May and there is increased rainfall in the summer and towards the end of the year from June to December. Like all Caribbean Islands, Grenada can be affected by hurricanes, which are most likely to develop between June and November.
