Our View
Being woken up every morning by your mother telling you
breakfast is ready is a highlight of many a childhood and here
is no different, except it's your friendly butler with her warming
smile; she can arrange anything you might need. Watch out for
Leo and Clive who own and operate the hotel; they like to chat over
a few drinks to help you settle into the Caribbean way of life
and make sure you are totally looked after. The early
evening tradition is pretty special too, with canapés arriving
in your room before dinner.
Hotel Description
An unpretentious and elegant hideaway with passion and flair and
a 'you-don't-have-to-lift-a-finger' mentality is what Calabash
is all about. Always keen to go that little bit further to make
your stay even more memorable, you'll find little indulgences
like fruit served on the beach every morning and home-cooked
breakfasts on your terrace or balcony.
Thirty scattered suites resemble a horseshoe in profile and are
just steps away from the crescent-shaped Prickley Bay and its
glorious warm waters. Their interiors are contemporary with a
Grenadian twist and have terraces boasting views over to
bobbing yachts and glowing sunsets.
The new Heaven & Earth waterfront spa menu promises to
deliver exactly what it says on the tin, with plenty of other
activities if you feel the need. And for a romantic tropical
night head for Rhodes' Restaurant, a venue with an atmosphere
generated by candlelight and tantalising cuisine inspired by
Gary Rhodes.
