Our View
This amazing resort is set on one of the best beaches in the
Caribbean and as it is protected by the hotel and its staff you
pretty much remain undisturbed by the beach pedlars.
If you're looking for a suite that has a location of which
Kirsty Allsop and Phil Spencer would be proud, book a stay in the
Seagrape Beach Suites; being right on the golden sands of Grand
Anse Beach they even come with the ultimate accessory - a
hammock!
Alternatively, if you want total privacy, choose the Royal Suite
with private pool, or a Pool Suite, as both keep away prying eyes.
The staff are superb - warm, welcoming and very attentive - just
one reason to visit in itself.
Hotel Description
You immediately know you are in for some serious pampering as
you approach this resort. Lying on the world-famous mile-long Grand
Anse Beach and surrounded by lemon, almond and seagrape trees, it
has what can only be described as a sublime setting.
There is an air of peacefulness about it and with its stylish
makeover it now has rejuvenated all-suite accommodation and
cutting-edge bathrooms by Philippe Starck. However, it's not been
completed without careful thought regarding its impact on the
environment.
Energy conservation is a preoccupation here, so you'll find
solar panel heating, non-chlorine swimming pools and home grown
herbs and local spices used in their beachfront Oliver's and Sea
& Surf restaurants.
There's also the redesigned Janissa's Spa which uses the
restorative powers of local herbs, and complimentary green fees on
the nearby nine-hole golf course. Spice Island Beach Resort is
