Our View
Harpers & Queen labelled Cotton House as "the perfect
retreat and honeymoon destination", as it cleverly combines
sophistication with a laid-back charm; perhaps this is why so many
celebrities and royalty head here too. You must eat, drink and
dance at the famous beachfront bar and chat to Basil (a legend
amongst the guests): it's the best place to kick off your
shoes and have some fun.
Hotel Description
It may be a hop and a bit of a skip to get to Mustique, but boy
is it worth it; Cotton House's appeal is its
seclusion, elegance and refinement. It may have been converted
from an old sugar mill but it is far from rustic: it has
been rejuvenated by hotel genius Grace Leo and now has
beautifully renovated and romantic weathered cottage rooms and
suites, with private terraces or verandahs overlooking the
Caribbean Sea.
The Cotton Hill Residence is great for families with its
spacious reception rooms, outdoor gazebo and large private swimming
pool. The new infinity pool is one way to relax; further
options lie in the sparkling clear and warm waters of Endeavour Bay
and various spa treatments, the ideal way to release tension
and find inner calm. If you really want to explore the area
in greater detail then venture out on horse-back - it's the
only, way according to the locals.
