Churchill came here to paint. Noel Coward and Ian Fleming were
regular visitors too along with the younger celebrities that pass
through today. And you can see why. Jamaica Inn is still as
gracious, elegant and genteel as it ever was, with its understated
colonial style, manicured lawns and spacious balconies looking out
onto glorious sea views (even the smaller rooms have large,
open-sided verandas). The idyllic, secluded beach is a beautiful
champagne-coloured strip with crystal clear water (although the
snorkelling is more rewarding a little further out).This is the
place to relax: everything you expect Jamaica to be and more.
