Pinch yourself. That's how dream-like it is. Santorini is best
enjoyed from high on the fairytale island's cliffs (as long as you
don't mind steps!), and here you feel like it's your own private
island. The other-worldly views dominate with incredible sunsets
and more, and the unusual setting simply adds to the overall charm.
Equally out of this world is the staff; nothing is too much
trouble, from the moment they greet you with champagne on arrival.
The sunset wine-tasting in the hotel's dramatic wine cellar/ cave

suites lovingly handcrafted from local materials: Flintstones-style
with coffee tables shaped like large pebbles on limestone floors;
bed heads and lamps sculpted from driftwood and cushions
embroidered with traditional floral designs.
The imaginative minibar is also a favourite feature: champagne,
Metaxa, digestives, pink lemonade and more. If you're missing your
gym then plump for the Spiritual Suites; these deluxe pamper-zones
are kitted out with fitness equipment and a steam bath; mind you,
all the steps up and down between the suites, the infinity edge
pool and the village obliterate the need for a gym. The villas on
the other hand, offer a sense of romantic seclusion with a private
jacuzzi.
