This former princely residence dates back to the 16th Century and offers a range of accommodation including two private villas which are ideal for families wishing to spend more quality, private time together. Restaurants and bars throughout the hotel afford guests the opportunity to dine, formally or casually, at pretty much any time of day or night. There are also three heated swimming pools, including the unique floating pool with Jacuzzi on the lake. It's a very "regal" and quite formal place to stay, but iconic none the less.

Inside, guest rooms and suites are split between the Cardinal Villa and Queen's Pavilion, where over one hundred and thirty years of tradition blends flawlessly with modern comforts; all individually decorated and furnished with antiques, silk brocade drapes, oil paintings and Como silk furnishings.
