Guests are able to enjoy the best of both worlds here: the
delightfully tranquil setting of this beautiful building with
a facade attributed to Michelangelo; and the vibrant city of
Florence just 15 minutes away (complimentary shuttle service
available). The Cookery School is impressive, as are the hotel
suites; the layout of the rooms in the original monastery
building has influenced the style, creating unique rooms each with
a different decor. There are also beautifully appointed and
secluded Junior Suites located within the gardens.

This stunning 15th Century former monastery is all about romance
and location. Set majestically on a hilltop with breathtaking
views over the valley of Arno and across Florence, it is the
perfect place to relax and unwind. There is plenty to do here,
from painting lessons for the children to yoga classes in the
manicured gardens with their potted lemon trees and roses for
the grown-ups.
For the more adventurous, there's mountain biking to Fiesole
or Florence, whilst foodies can learn how to create gourmet
Italian cuisine under the guidance of Internationally
renowned chefs at the hotel's Cookery School (separate lessons
available for children). Or you can simply laze by the outdoor
swimming pool and take a dip in its warm waters while enjoying the
amazing panoramic views.
