Hotel Description
Located atop a cliff in Guía de Isora, on the western shore of
the island, Abama is a vast sprawling dusky-pink palace hotel
and villa complex which will suit those active
'get-away-from-it-all' pleasure seekers. Oversized rooms and suites
are housed in the aptly named Citadel and there are further options
within villa style accommodation all featuring plush earthy
chic décors, spacious bathrooms and private terraces
with expansive views.
The landscape is typically volcanic with lively vegetation and a
private beach, which is reached by a lift to funicular. You
can play on the spectacular 18-hole Dave Thomas-designed golf
course; sample the exquisite cuisine; enjoy a dip in one of
the swimming pools or unwind in the exotic Abama Spa, which
even has a snow cabin (one of only two spa igloos in the world). The
children's club is extremely popular, so you may have
difficulty prising them away.
