Mandarin Oriental Barcelona

Our View

There's so much to impress with this one that it's difficult to know where to start, although the elegant rooftop infinity pool with its perfect city views is a good option. Design-wise, Spanish-born Patricia Urquiola has done a sterling job, with interiors worthy of a coffee table book. MOments, the gourmet restaurant is blazing a trail in traditional Catalan cuisine under the world's most awarded female Michelin chef Carme Ruscalleda; the rooftop terrace, is one of Barcelona's coolest bars to gather for cocktails with a view and Mimosa Garden is a peaceful green space for relaxation or alfresco dining. It's all here.
