Driftwood Rosevine, Cornwall

Our View

You might think Driftwood's all about the setting. It's absolutely stunning, with the hotel perched high on a clifftop in 7 acres of gardens, with its own private beach and cove. Views are equally dramatic, while the décor is simple but stylish. The overall feel is very 'Cape Cod', with marine colours and just the occasional driftwood touch to remind you where you are. There's also a secluded two-bedroomed cabin at the bottom of the garden, popular with families (and honeymooners). The restaurant is excellent too. Be warned though, even residents need to pre-book - it's that popular!

Hotel Description

Just a mile from the delightful fishing village of Portscatho, this is a privately run, Cornish beach house hotel, overlooking beautiful Gerrans Bay. The weather-boarded cabins each have their own book-filled sitting room; there's 7 acres of English country garden, a private beach and cove, and pan-European food in the decked Driftwood Restaurant (ask the staff about your own bespoke hamper for lunches on the beach). Driftwood truly is a dreamy retreat, simply dripping with style and priceless Cornish ambience.
