Our View
It's the most (absolutely) fabulous location in London!
Overlooking Hyde Park on one side with Harrods and Harvey Nich's on
the other, this is a classic, city hotel: one of the capital's
'grand dames'. Stately and elegant, it's drenched in English
refinement, with lavish rooms and truly indulgent beds. Breakfast
is fantastic (served on huge silver cloches), and the new spa, with
its sanarium (one better than a sauna), vitality pool and Zen
colour therapy relaxation area, is one of the best in London. And
although the Mandarin Oriental clearly attracts the sophisticated
London set, it caters surprisingly well for kids, too!
Hotel Description
To experience London in style and luxury, but with a sense of
place, this hotel overlooking Hyde Park has very few peers, for
each uniquely furnished room has a stunning view to go with the
amazing opulence of its antiques and luxurious fabrics. Dining at
the Park Restaurant or Foliage is superb, and the spa is considered
to be the finest in London. Royalty would be as at home here today,
as the Queen was when she learned to dance here in the 1930s.
