Our View
As one of the last great railway hotels, this takes you back to
an altogether different time. It still has its Edwardian character
(and busy ambience), but as ever with Rocco Forte, it's been
seamlessly brought up to date. You're perfectly located (we think
it's worth paying extra for the view along Princes Street), and the
hotel is very family-friendly, with impossible-to-fault service.
Make sure you eat at Michelin-starred number one, and don't be
fooled by the clock: an Edinburgh landmark, it's always been set a
few minutes fast for people catching trains!
