Our View
It's certainly striking: mirrored mosaic walls, disco balls,
shocking pinks and lime greens. But the best thing is, it works.
It's bright in a clever way, glamorous and fun, without being
cheesy. The rooms (which are huge) are cosier, but just as
über-chic, and show off a lot of the original Georgian features.
The location is 'the Bond Street of the North', handy for many of
the city's best bars and restaurants. A nice touch is the staff,
invariably cheery, wearing T-shirts with 'Tiger' or 'Lily'. Makes
you feel like a bright young thing again!
Hotel Description
Appearances can be deceptive: behind the noble façade of this
elegant Georgian townhouse, you'll discover one of Scotland's most
glitzy and glamorous boutique hotels. Perfectly located on George
Street, it combines gorgeous designer fabrics and furnishings with
all the mod cons you'd expect from such a fashionable spot. And if
its nightlife you're after, sample Asian delicacies in the
Tigerlily restaurant and sup some of the city's best cocktails in
the stylish bar before hitting Lulu, the chichi basement
nightclub.
