Our View
An A-list retreat in the heart of Wiltshire, this stunning manor
house is as luxurious inside as it is serene outside. Each room is
individually styled, exploiting features like exposed beams and
including top-notch technology. Exceptional cuisine comes courtesy
of Chef Martin Burge (now with two Michelin Stars), but most people
come here for the Aquarius spa. It feels rather like a Roman bath
complex with its numerous steam and hot rooms, saunas, a
'wave-dream sensory room' and large indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy
pool (- it's almost as much fun playing with the various options as
having treatments!). Bliss!
Hotel Description
This converted Cotswold manor house is a romantic dream, with
exposed beams, gothic arches and four-poster beds, all mixed with a
touch of up-to-the-minute glamour. Even the beautiful gardens
juxtapose old English planting with contemporary water features.
And don't be fooled by the rural loveliness of a honeyed stone
building in rolling countryside: two Michelin stars grace The
Dining Room, while an on-site cinema vies for your attention with
the award-winning Aquarius spa offering La Prairie treatments.
