One of Four Seasons' newest resorts, this overlooks what must be
the best bay on the island, Petite Anse. Rather than rely on the
beach though, each spacious, homely villa has its own plunge pool
and terrace - the Garden View Villas are particularly well-suited
to families. We think the whole resort will prove to be one of our
most popular choices in the Indian Ocean, partly because it's on
Mahé (the main island), making it that much easier to get to.
Hotel Description
Put simply, this is as picture-perfect as tropical hideaways
come. Here sparkling turquoise waters gently lap the sugary white
sands of Petite Anse beach, one of Mahé Island's very best, while a
lush tropical forest borders the sands. And nestling in that forest
you'll find the luxury tree-houses from which the resort's
discerning guests enjoy this island paradise. Perched on stilts
around the private bay, each is designed with outdoor living in
mind and features its own private deck, complete with outdoor
shower and infinity pool from which to soak in the gorgeous Indian
Ocean views.
For a little self-indulgence, journey uphill to the sumptuous
spa where yoga, meditation and relaxing treatments using local
herbs and spices are all on offer. Back down at the beach you'll
find water sports galore, while the resort's huge infinity pool
overlooking the sea is a tranquil alternative. And when you need a
little refreshment, try the laid-back beachside restaurant serving
up Asian specialities and sushi, or visit the hilltop eatery where
Mediterranean and Middle Eastern delicacies, plus fabulous sunset
views, are the order of the day.
