Our View
Pure escapism! It could be from Arabian
Nights: an Arabic fortress (the main building), surrounded by
Bedouin tents (the pool villas) in a desert nature reserve against
a dramatic mountain backdrop.
Of course, being Banyan Tree this is an
oasis of indulgence. Aside from the spa, private beach and golf
course, adventure awaits with activities like camel riding and
desert safaris (we loved the falconry centre!).
You can even experience Bedouin-style
desert dining under the stars (perfect for a memorable occasion).
Very special.
Hotel Description
A tranquil oasis between the Arabian
Gulf and the Al Hajjar Mountains, this is one of Banyan Tree's most
exotic resorts.
It consists of all pool villas, richly
styled and beautifully-appointed with a choice of deluxe or
nomad-style tented accommodation. The signature Spa is the biggest
in the Emirates, and features the Rainforest hydrothermal
experience.
Excellent dining options include Thai
and international cuisine, and for those craving less escapist
pursuits, a short drive away is the hotel's private beach and its
Championship golf course, Al Hamra.
