Our View
This is not to everyone's taste, though even those of us who
prefer a more subtle approach to holidaying can't fail to be
impressed by the sheer magnitude of the place. The facilities are
undeniably top-notch, with couples and families in particular
being particularly well catered for.
Hotel Description
Less a hotel, this is more a city of delights in its own right,
a city where the architects apparently had carte blanche to
create a show-stopper of a resort with nothing left unthought-of.
Once you get over the wow factor of it all, a colossal
structure set beside a glistening, 1.3 km private beach, get ready
to experience the mind-blowing Emirates Palace.
You could spend days exploring the place and only cover a
fraction of what's on offer, no fewer than 12 restaurants
catering for every palate, two huge pool complexes, one
of which incorporates water slides, waterfalls and a lazy
river, two fitness centres, a children's playground, the
'Energy Zone' where extreme sports take centre stage, and an
abundance of high-end boutiques should you get the urge. The
302 grand rooms and 92 suites haven't cut corners on the
showing-off front. Emirates Palace really is the epitome of
extravagance.
