Our View
This is a hotel with a grand, and proud, history to it. The
renowned painter John Ruskin was a fan back in the 19th century;
little wonder with its high-alpine, glorious setting within the
shadow of the Matterhorn. Elegant from top to toe, with a real
effortless charm, you'll be taken with the standards of service, as
well as the Prato Borni restaurant, a particular local culinary
favourite. And the spa is dreamy, so be sure to try those alpine
and ice grottos.
Hotel Description
Standing at the foot of the Matterhorn, there's no mistaking
that you are somewhere very special indeed when you are staying at
the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof. Rooms and suites are cosy and
comfortable but with a very contemporary feel, while the spa with
its pool, 'saunascape' and ice grotto offer something completely
original to those in search of cutting-edge pampering. Dining takes
place in the glowing wood-panelled restaurant, while for cocktails
there's a choice of contemporary bars.
