Our View
Even by Aspen's exacting standards, this stands out. From the
luxurious lobby with its fab views of Aspen Mountain to the
original artworks, it's unrelenting elegance throughout. The style
is very rich, with lovely Western touches: lots of leather, earthy
tones and dark wood. There's a gorgeous new spa (at this altitude,
the oxygen lounge is a godsend!), with after-treatment champagne
and truffles; it's perfectly located within walking distance of the
resort's main attractions. Talking of walking, the hotel can even
arrange for you to 'borrow' a dog from the local shelter, if you're
missing your family pet!
Hotel Description
Perfectly situated at the base of Mount Aspen's challenging
runs, the St. Regis Aspen Resort is the smartest address in this,
the smartest of American resorts. And with its fabulous facilities,
jaw-dropping views and myriad luxe touches, it's not hard to see
why. Belying its traditional look, you'll find the most
up-to-the-minute technology in the superbly comfortable rooms,
while the stunning pool, extensive spa and smart restaurant with
its exhibition kitchen mean you'd be forgiven for not making those
slopes at all.
